Assists the manager in customer & employee relations. Responsible for buying & selling grain, customer meetings & programs, running the scale, updating the website, assisting in website improvements & the company newsletter.
Responsible for accounts payable & accounts receivable transactions, balancing the bank, balancing the general ledger, verify & pay all trucking bills, settle grain, run the scale & various other tasks.
Responsible for all accounting functions.
Responsible for organizing daily activities for employees and determining the importance of day-to-day tasks. Responsible for grain storage and quality, customer service, facility housekeeping, maintenance, and security.
Primarily part time help, especially during harvest season. Responsible for dumping trucks, grain quality control, housekeeping and general maintenance.
The manager is subject at all times to the supervision and direction of the executive officers and board of directors, and has full and complete charge of the general business operations of the company, its plant, equipment, and facilities.
This position entails the supervision of day to day activities of a designated grain elevator(s). This includes the oversight of grain inventory/handling, grain quality, elevator equipment, housekeeping, maintenance, rail loading preparations/activities, and the loading/unloading of grain trucks.
Responsible for setting daily bids, hedging or selling company grain, balancing daily position record, corroborates logistics for truck & rail shipments, & establishes Farmer Marketing Programs.
This position entails the installing and maintenance of machinery and equipment to Topflight Grain’s 15+ elevators, including troubleshooting mechanical failures and pneumatic and electrical systems. It requires the operation of hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools in the effort to repair, rebuild, and maintain elevator operations. It may also include the installation of material systems and fabrication when necessary.
Responsible for daily grain operations such as trucking, trains, grain movement, farm pickup, & other various related tasks.
Responsible for organizing daily activities for employees and determining the importance of day-to-day tasks. Also responsible for quality of grain, maintenance and security of facilities, developing and enforcing safety programs, training employees on such programs and behaviors, and staying current on all Federal rules and regulations regarding work compensation claims, state worker laws, and OSHA rules & regulations.
This position oversees all of Topflight Grain’s Safety initiatives/programs to ensure compliance with company local regulations for all full time and seasonal facilities and staff to cultivate a safety conscious workplace.

This position entails the driving of a company tractor/trailer commercial motor vehicle with GVWR of 80,000 pounds in trasporting a variety of grain types from Topflight Grain elevators to various locations. Includes vehicle upkeep and basic servicing.
